An International Conference on Radiation, Cancer and Society (ICRCS-2012) was organized by the University during November 26-28, 2012 at Vigyan Parishad Auditorium, Allahabad.
Scientists from USA, UK, Canada, Japan, South Korea participated in the conference including several renowned scientists/researchers from Universities/Institutes of India.
A regular feature has been to organize the research scholar meet every year where research scholars of the University are encouraged to share and discuss their research findings and experience with each other.
The brain storming session provides an opportunity to the scholars to share their new knowledge in presence of Experts and other scholars for the active discussion and valuable suggestions.
A two-day National Symposium on "Advances in Bio-Sciences and Biotechnology" organized during 21-22 July, 2015 at Anjeneya Hall, Research Centre, Jhunthi Tali Campus of NGBV. Main speakers who delivered lectures on 21st July were Dr. Ashok Tiwari, Senior Scientist of Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad elaborated and correlated "Diet and Diabetes", and Dr. Rajesh Mishra of Jawaharlal Nehru University, compared and analyzed the structure of proteins in humans with that of micro-organisms.
Main speakers of 22nd July Dr. Ashok Tiwari, Senior Scientist of Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad delivered lecture on Role of chemicals in entire human life, Prof. K.K. Narang of BHU spoke on Chemistry of hazardous metals in Ayurveda, Prof. Pratima Gaur of Allahabad University spoke on Genomics, Dr. Abhimanyu Kr. Singh of NGBV on Medicinal use of nano-particles and Dr. K. D. Joshi of Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (CIFRI) spoke on Fish production in Ganges.
